Look up | 上を向いて

“Looking up” has blessed my life over and over since being diagnosed with MCS known as multiple chemical sensitivity.

At first, I had no idea how to deal with it or what I could do with my limited capability for work to accomplish my own goals and make my dream come true.

While hoping to become an interior designer, learning the basics of how to draw and give a presentation to my future clients and such, I was wondering how I could picture myself having a successful careers as a designer.

After many years, changing my path to a new direction, I could take a little steps forward to reach a point where I would want to go and who I would want to become.

In a moment of learning how to take those steps,

taking the time to "always look up"

and

"picture myself succeeding before actually working on the things"

often taught me a valuable lessons to experience the amazing benefits.

Now is the time for "looking up" and keep on doing my very best until I get to open a new page in my life!

「上を向いて」前に進むことは、化学物質過敏症の診断を受けて以来、私の人生に多くの祝福と気づきを与えてくれています。

最初の頃は、様々な症状にどう向き合って良いか分からず、閉ざされたように見える窓をどのように開けて、私の人生の目標や夢にどう向き合っていけばいいか、分からないことばかりでした。

そして、インテリアデザイナーになりたいという思いを胸に、絵の描き方や顧客へのプレゼン方法などの基礎を学びつつ、どうしたら自分の思い描くデザイナーというキャリアを築き上げることが出来るだろうかと思い巡らしていました。

何年か過ぎ、その方向性を変え、(インテリアデザイナーとしてでなくとも、)小さな一歩を踏み出すことで、やっと少しづつ私の辿り着きたい到達点、なりたい自分を新たに思い描くことが出来るようになりました。

そのような一歩を踏み出す過程で、

「いつも上を向いて前向きに進み」、

「何かを始める前にまず、成功した自分を想像する」

ということが、

かけがえのない経験を積むための、とても価値のある教訓となったことに気がつきました。

いまこそ、上を向いて、

次の新たな人生の１ページをめくるまでベストを尽くしていこう！

そう思っています。
